Does AirTran Airways offer lower-priced fares for bereavement or emergency travel?

As a low-fare carrier, AirTran Airways does not offer additional discounts for bereavement or emergency travel.

Why are the fares in the list of available flights a few dollars different than the fares shown in the Pricing section of the Confirmation page?

The first availability and pricing screens in the booking engine show the base fare plus the departure tax, as required by the Department of Transportation. The pricing details shown in the Pricing section of the Confirmation page display the base fare and all taxes separately. If you click on the taxes amount, you will see a breakdown of all taxes and fees applied to the fare, including the departure tax, segment tax, September 11th security fee, and airport passenger facility charges.

I have already purchased my tickets and have seen specials for a less expensive fare. Can I get the lower price?

A $75 fee per person applies to any change made after purchase, plus any applicable increase in airfare. Any changes to your reservation must occur at least 1 hour prior to departure.
